Scott and I celebrated our anniversary this week, and although there have been plenty of ups and downs, I can say with complete certainty that I would not want to be on this ride with anyone but Scott. Every day I feel lucky to have married him.
Okay, enough mushiness about our marriage. Let's talk about something really important from our wedding day, like roses!
It's really simple. I love roses. I like them in any color, but I absolutely adore white roses and blush roses. When we were planning our wedding, I was a bit of a bridezilla about the flowers. My inspiration came from the cake design, which was beautifully and deliciously created by Betty Weber. It snowballed from the cake until I insisted on only white roses. I liked the simplicity of one flower and the creativity that sticking to a single bloom for the whole affair inspired. Celebrations deserves the credit for the final product, and it was beautiful. I can't help but smile every time I see a photograph of the flowers from our wedding. Here are some pictures from way back then! I hope they make you smile, too! Enjoy!
