While we have barely seen a glimpse of Fall here in the South, Fashion Week in NYC has come and gone with top designers presenting their looks for Spring 2015. These were some of my favorites. Enjoy!
1 TORY BURCH Tory Burch would not have been my first guess if asked to identify the designer of this look but I love this direction! The embellishment on this skirt is beautiful.
2 THE ROW The sophisticated and slightly older sister of Elizabeth & James is said to be the future of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s business. I love the beautiful fabric and the wrapped waist of this dress. Also, cannot neglect mentioning the pockets…always a plus!
3 NARCISSO RODRIGUEZ I have been an admirer of his since 1996 when he designed Carolyn Besette’s wedding gown for her marriage to John F. Kennedy Jr. The flow of this dress is gorgeous and the pink and brown embellishment keep it fresh.
4 RALPH LAUREN An icon of American fashion needs no introduction. This dress is classic Ralph Lauren with an added twist of breast pockets and a casual army green belt.
5 PRABAL GURUNG This dress immediately froze my finger on the trackpad. The fluidity of the skirt combined with the somewhat sporty cut of the top is amazing. Prabal Gurung launched his first collection during New York Fashion Week in 2009 and collaborated with Target in 2013 to produce an affordable collection of women’s clothes and accessories.
6 3.1 PHILLIP LIM With designer quality at contemporary pricing, 3.1 Phillip Lim is edgy, cool and refined all at once. I was introduced to this line while working at Scout, a beautiful boutique in downtown Pensacola. I love the cut and detail on this top and pants.
