Traci and I spend so much time talking about Waltz Me To Heaven and what we need to do and who we need to call and what pictures we want to take that we rarely get to just spend a night out together having fun. Last Friday night was an exception. We dragged our husbands out on the town for dinner and drinks and a lot of laughs. It was Gallery Night here in Pensacola, which means our main street, Palafox Street, is open to pedestrian traffic only, and the whole evening has a great party atmosphere.
We met for drinks before heading to one of our favorite restaurants, Global Grill. The menu is really interesting with a wide selection of small plates perfect for sharing, which is what we did. We had tempura covered asparagus, pork belly potstickers, bacon-wrapped lobster tail, yellow-fin tuna with wonton chips and the biggest meatball I've ever seen. For desert we shared a creme brûlée and the molten chocolate cake paired with basil ice cream, and it was all delicious!
We need to do this more often!
Traci and I ended up in pretty similar outfits - black tops with white jeans. I guess great minds do think alike! Shop our looks below.
