'Tis the Season to Feel Crazier Than Normal

It has been a crazy couple of weeks around here. We are trying to wrap up a home renovation and get ready for the holidays.  I do not know where to focus my attention and it is exhausting.  Because of the work being done on our home, we decided to put our Christmas Tree and stockings in the den instead of the living room.  The den is much smaller so we had to buy a smaller tree.  I have to say it was nice not having to struggle like we usually do to get the tree instead and set in the stand.

After a long weekend of work, tonight we headed to my in-laws house for dinner.  The temperature dropped once the sun went down so I was able to wear my new favorite puffy green vest from Palm Place.  It dawned on me last Friday that I have not given my J Brand skinny distressed jeans much love since I met the American Eagle Tomgirl Jeans.  The J Brand jeans are great but I am really into the slouchy fit of the Tomgirl jeans.  I forced my mini-me to take a few pictures before we left for dinner.  He was a semi-good sport.  What you cannot hear is the nail guns in the next room as the wood floors were being installed.  Yes, working on a Sunday is what happens when you are a month past deadline!

    1. Having a baby while renovating would be crazy! I cannot imagine. We renovated our kitchen two years ago through the holidays and that was way worse than this! The positive thing is that I will have a new master bedroom and bathroom when we are finished :)

  9. I don't think you can go wrong with a cute, puffy vest. I have a reversible one myself; one side is black & the other is floral. I like your green one though. :]
