Several weeks ago when we were in New Orleans for Jazz Fest, I spent some time in Saks on a mission to find a casual, comfortable day dress. This one Current/Elliot fit the bill perfectly. With the heat of a Florida summer knocking at my door, I needed easy and breezy. I love the subtle tie-dyed look of the color blocking, and of course, I love anything that is black and gray. This purchase was a no-brainer. The Vince espadrilles were another story. I tried them on, thought about them, tried them on again, and finally after a successful night at the casino...I bought them! I love their looks, but I have to be honest, I don't feel really stable in them. I actually fell in the streets of New Orleans - not my finest moment. It was raining. I was by myself. I felt so pathetic. It took me a little while before I wanted to venture out in them again, but alas, I have.

That daytime dress is perfect. I love that the neutral colorblocking looks tie-dye. I have been eyeing those Vince flatforms too. Too bad you fell with yours on, though. But you look great, so modern and awesome!

I am obsessed with all of the Vince espadrilles. I've been trying to find a pair on sale since they are so pricy :/
