Who else feels like they are drowning in a sea of baseball games, ballet rehearsals, science fair, children's chorus, puppy pee, and end of the year parties? Living on a prayer and chicken on a stick from the ballpark concession stand? WE ARE! May gets the award for being the craziest month of the year. We are making it through with our eyes on the prize. The prize being the end of school and a long Memorial Day weekend at the beach. No practices or alarms clocks allowed! Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining, just ready for the pace to slow down a bit. Hang in there friends! Carefree days ahead.

Pearl. Don't let that face fool you. She's not. that. innocent. |

Our sweet lawn care man built this hut for Sally after he cut down all the lower limbs from the trees
making them very difficult to climb.
He felt so bad but the grass really needed some more sunlight to survive! |

I relish moments of peace like this one when Sally said, "I'm just going to attach myself to you and go to sleep." |
Hope life slows down a bit for you soon! May is always a rough month with sports and everything being squeezed in before summer break at school!
ReplyDeleteHaha I love this real life post! It is true that May always seems so busy and I don't even have kids yet!
