We spent Labor Day weekend in Seaside, FL, with family and friends. My family has had a house in Seaside since I was six years old, and I love that I get to share it with my kids. The beaches are beautiful, the architecture is fascinating and the atmosphere is one of a kind.

Since this was the last weekend of the season, we had to hit all our favorite hot spots. We love to go to Modica Market for their marinated goat cheese and great craft beer selection. The farmer's market on Saturday is one of the best around, and if you're lucky, Southern Craft Creamery will be having a tasing of their divine, award-winning ice cream. This weekend we enjoyed our favorite "Salty Caramel" as well as a new flavor "Coconut Cream." For happy hour, I made a point to see Woody at Great Southern Cafe for one of his famous mojitos.

It sounds like all we did was eat and drink our way through the weekend, but we also spent lots of time on the beach enjoying the warm water of the Gulf of Mexico. It was the perfect weekend to say goodbye to summer!
