Tastemakers Take Downtown

This past weekend was the Tastemakers tour of downtown Pensacola restaurants, and it was great!  At $20 a ticket and twelve restaurants participating, it was not only a great deal but also a good time. The event was such a success that some of the stops on the map ran out of food before we got there, but we had fun regardless.

Seville Quarter was the perfect place for our group to meet up to get on the tram, and Chef Brandon Melton did a jambalaya paired with Evodia Garnacha wine.  Some of the other highlights were the Chicken Tortilla Soup and Housemade Tequila Sangria at Pot Roast & Pinot, the Brie Dip at Hopjacks, the Fried Chicken Leg at Four Seasons Catering & Eatery and the Treek Burger at The Tin Cow.

The whole evening was so much fun, and we got to pop in on some of our favorites spots and try some new places that we will definitely be going back to soon.  Here's hoping for a repeat next year if not before!
