Traci and I walked the runway tonight for a charity fashion show to benefit a local hospital's foundation! It was fun, it was nerve wracking and it was a great success! In the past, the fashion show has featured styles from a popular department store, but this year, they decided to feature local stores.
Several years ago I did a fashion show that benefited the local ballet company, and I swore I would never do one again. Something about walking that runway with everyone looking me up and down was more than intimidating. Yet, when my friend Laura, who owns Bluetique, called I couldn't say no. And although I was a bundle of nerves as all the bright lights hit my face, the whole event was a lot of fun. Plus, it didn't hurt that I loved my outfit!
