Wreaths of Joy

Tonight we attended the Wreaths of Joy Gala benefitting the ARC Gateway Organization.  The setting was the outfield of the Blue Wahoos Stadium.  Cocktail hour took place underneath a large tent where the silent auction items were displayed.  There were many great items to bid on including beautiful wreaths made by talented members of our community.  Jackson's Steakhouse and Classic City Catering served delicious hors d'oeuvres.  As cocktail hour concluded, patrons and guests moved into an adjacent tent for a seated dinner, entertainment, and a live auction.  The Arc Gateway Performance Company provided the entertainment. There were many talented performers including Cameron Northup and Quinn Emmett.  The one and only Collier Merrill conducted the live auction assisted by Miss Teen USA 2014 K. Lee Graham. Proceeds from the evening benefit Arc Gateway, a 60 year old organization that provides life-enhancing programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It was truly an inspiring event and wonderful to see how many people in our community work tirelessly for this organization.
