This past weekend we celebrated the birthday of a good friend at the Gulfarium in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. We are lucky to have the beachside aquarium, which has been in operation since the 1960s, just a short drive away. Everyone had a great time watching the Dolphins perform, and the kids got to learn a little about how the trainers communicate with them. If you live in our area or vacation down here, be sure to check it out. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable, and their fondness for the animals shines through.
We may be on the Gulf Coast, but the weather was dreary and cool, so it was jeans, a sweater and rain boots for me!
