Dreaming of Boot Weather During the CMAs

In case you missed it, the CMA Awards were last night.  It's my favorite night of the year.  I love the  to chance hear so many of the best songs of the past year as well as the opportunity to pass judgement on the new songs artists are debuting.  It seems that most of my favorite music never makes it to country radio these days, but I do love Little Big Town's Girl Crush, Eric Church's Mister Misunderstood, Miranda Lambert's Bathroom Sink and Kacey Musgraves Dimestore Cowgirl. In addition to solo performances, collaborations are big thing these days on the CMAs, and I have to say that I usually find fewer hits than misses among them.  One MAJOR exception was performance by Chris Stapleton and Justin Timberlake.

Of course, there were plenty of performances that I wanted to fast forward though, but instead, I used that time to do a little online shopping.  When we were in Nashville a couple of weeks ago, I saw these Dolce Vita boots in my new favorite shop, Emerson Grace, and I have been thinking about them ever since.  I tracked them down (along with a few others).  Now I just need the weather to cool off so that I can finally wear boots.  Happy shopping!

  2. I'm not familiar with the songs that you've written there but I'll be checking those out. Anyway, i love wearing boots too and if only we have fall or winter, it would be easier and more appropriate for me to wear one. :)

    Have a nice day!
