Food & Wine Festival

Sunday afternoon was the 5th Annual Seville Quarter Wine and Food Festival.  It was my second year attending the event.  Armed with knowledge from last year's event, I wisely headed to the food first before supplies were depleted.  The pasta from Mike D's, the pulled pork tacos from Frank & Lola's, and the Wagyu brisket from the Butcher Shoppe were among my favorite food items.  George Artisan Bakery & Bistro built a beautiful display of sweet treats and I had to restrain myself from sampling everything!

The champagne bar in the courtyard is also a very popular spot so Emily and I headed there upon her arrival.  We enjoyed the champagne bar but our favorite bubbly was found at a separate table. The Domain Rosier Brut was featured at the French wine dinner last Thursday night. Emily and I both agreed that it was our favorite. We were unable to attend the dinner so we were happy to have the opportunity to try the featured wines from Jean Francois Wine Imports.

Cheers to good wine and good food!

The pulled pork tacos from Frank & Lola's at Margaritaville Hotel were delicious.

The Domain Rosier Brut was our favorite and a great value at $15.99!

The JCB N0.21 was our favorite from this trio.

The pulled pork sandwich with Carolina style sauce from The Butcher Shoppe.

A hazelnut cupcake from George Artisan Bakery & Bistro.

Beautiful sunset as we were leaving Seville.
