OOTD: Safari Romper

Last weekend was the culmination of over a month of celebration for the Fiesta of Five Flags here in Pensacola.  The final event was the Tristan Ball, which is always casual, always a lot of fun and always has a theme.  This year it was a safari, and as promised, I sported a safari romper.  

I had it all planned out to take pictures the night of the event, but as luck would have it, I got soaked with a water gun right after I arrived (don't ask)!  Usually I let stuff like that roll off my back, but after a really long day, I had trouble keeping my cool.  After I collected myself (with the help of a glass of champagne), I ended up having a great time, and I even got a few shots with my friend Cate.

Easy, Breezy Summer Rompers

Rompers are an easy, all-in-one outfit!  I love them because you don't have to worry about pairing a top and bottom.  It's already done for you!  The other great thing about rompers, is they can often go from casual to dressy depending on the fabric and cut.  Of course depending on the event, rompers can be difficult to get in and out of during a trip to the ladies room, so you have to consider your venue.  

Tonight I am going to a safari-themed party, and I'm leaning toward a romper.  Stay tuned for how I style it!
