White Island is a little barrier island in Pensacola Bay that holds a special spot in the heart of many a Bayshore kid. We came over to the island by boat, but it is really close enough to paddle board or even to swim (in fact, I was counting on using my paddle board as an escape plan if roughing it got to be too much fun). As much I have been talking about dreaming about cooler weather, it's times like these that make me grateful to live on the Gulf Coast. We always say that we are lucky enough to live where others only get to vacation.

That looks like such a fun weekend! It is so nice to still be able to have beach weather on the weekends :)
ReplyDeleteIt was! It also made it a little easier for my husband to forget about the Gator game! ;)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a blast! A little jealous here! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so stormy here right now and the Gulf is so fierce that I'm missing those blue skies and warm water.
