It was a happy Easter for all! As promised, clothing was decided upon ahead of time. Why were we still late for church? The sanctuary was packed with people spilling out of the doors. Luckily, our parents were there early and saved us seats. Dr. Wachob delivered a wonderful sermon, and the choir closed with the "Hallelujah Chorus" which always gives me chills. Will's godmother hosted her annual lunch and Easter egg hunt. The Mitchem girls told the story of Easter with Resurrection eggs.
I was not familiar with this but a "how to" can be found on Pinterest. Lunch was delicious and my favorite part was the steamed shrimp with homemade dill sauce.
