The clothes all came together pretty effortlessly. The kids behaved (for the most part), so why was it all so stressful?? Once we finally got to church and sat down, I relaxed a little, but getting there was a chore. The service was packed, and Traci and I saw each other afterwards. We did manage to get one picture together, in spite of the wind, which blew up my dress Marilyn Monroe-style (I had to run home to put on a pair of Hide-ees).
Each year for Easter my parents host all of my in-laws after church for lunch and an impressive Easter egg hunt. Everyone brings something, which is very helpful, but there is still a lot of set up. Scott spent all day Saturday moving tables and chairs while I stuffed Easter eggs and prepared Easter baskets. It may be a lot of work, but the reward is totally worth it. Scott is one of six kids, and there are seventeen grandchildren so when we all get together it's a great party! Plus, my mother-in-law surprised me with a beautiful Spratling Silver cross, and I love it! I hope your Easter, like mine, was filled with the love of friends and family, millions of candy-filled eggs and big chocolate bunnies!
