Black And White And Sunny All Over

Last night was the culmination of several months of hard work, and I couldn't have been more pleased!  We had our kick-off event for Sunny Days Foundation at the local baseball stadium overlooking the bay.  Eric Lindell provided the entertainment, and the weather was perfect, the setting was great and the response was better than we could have hoped!

Sunny Days is a foundation supporting pediatric oncology that was started by my good friends Tosh and Laura because of Laura's personal experience with her mother's cancer fight.  Laura remembers their family vacations as a bright spot while her mother was going through cancer treatment, and she wanted to be able to give similar experiences to other families.  We just received our 501(c)(3) status last fall, and since then we've been working to get our marketing materials together and plan this first event.  Now we are off and running, and through cash and in-kind donations, we will give vacations to pediatric oncology patients and their families.   Check out of website for more info www.sunnydaysfoundation.org!
