Mardi Gras OOTD

As Traci mentioned yesterday, we had a really packed weekend!  Friday night started out with a delicious dinner at Union Public House.  It's a layer back pub in an industrial setting that works well for a simple weeknight meal or a festive weekend occasion.  Both the food and cocktails are spot on, and I'm still dreaming about the beef carpaccio and a gin drink they call "The Settler."

I love a good beef carpaccio, and this is one of the best I've had.  The garlic aioli and the fried capers are such a nice touch!

I am totally obsessed with this drink!  I love a gin cocktail, and this one is so light and refreshing.  If I have any complaint it's that it goes down too easily!

I agree with Traci that Rebellaires is more of a short-dress kind of party.  I love the large, floral print on this Clover Canyon dress, and the neoprene material makes it really fun.  I paired it with some vintage Prada shoes, and one of my favorite DVF clutches.
