Memorial Day Fun

We had a fabulous Memorial Day weekend with our "beach house family".  This year, we were in Destin, Florida on Old Highway 98.  We are a party of 18, soon to be 19.  It takes a lot of preparing and planning but is worth every bit of effort.  Our in house lawyer and photographer had this adorable logo designed and put on tumblers for the adults.  It was so thoughtful of her and I was really sad when she took them back at the end of the trip to be stored in the "beach box" until next year.  I also have her to thank for all of these pictures. Thanks, Rachael!

The beach was beautiful the entire time although the surf was pretty rough.  The kids had fun playing in the waves and on boogie boards but the red flag days made it a little stressful.  Thankfully, the adults were able to get away one evening.  I was looking forward to going back to Bijou. The food was everything I remembered.  We had a blast enjoying the food, drinks and company.  It was a great way to start the summer!
