Three Dots Day to Night LBD

I did not have a particular blog post in mind when I wore this Three Dots dress for photos at Bluetique.  It is a great dress but certainly does not resemble anything that I wear on a day to day basis.  Regardless, I love how it fits and I love the mesh detail at the shoulders.  There is a great jacket that goes with it and I wish we had photographed it as well.  

What comes to mind when I look back at this dress?  Do you watch House of Cards?  We crushed Season 4 in less than a week.  While I feel that Claire Underwood's priorities are a little wacked, her style and poise never cease to amaze me.  I mean, if I was the First Lady/Vice President I would totally want her wardrobe!  Check out this article from last year when Robin Wright was on the cover of Vanity Fair.  There is a great paragraph about Claire's style. 

While my life does not consist of working in an office and entertaining clients over dinner, this is what I would wear if it did.  It is comfortable (ponte knit) and will work office to dinner like a charm.

    Oh Traci this sheath is gorgeous, so classy, versatile, timeless and seasonless. I have never watched House of Cards but I have seen the commercials and print adds. Totally something Robin Wright's character would wear. Plus I love that you accessorized it with the pretty light tan accessories. Love the shoes and glasses. =)

    Gorgeous look on you! You totally nailed the Claire Underwood look which is always flawless! We definitely crushed season 4 in less than a week too, so sad we have to wait a year for more!
