Favorite Products Lately

I recently visited Sephora to find a new under eye concealer. Of course, there were several other items on my list. It is impossible for me to leave Sephora with just one item, kind of like Target, right?!? The register lines are cleverly surrounded by bins that contain trial sizes of all different types of products, also a great place to find necessities in 3 ounce bottles for air travel.  What are your favorite products these days?  I would love to hear about them in our comment section at the bottom of this post.

I first read about the YSL Glossy Lip Stain on Meet @ The Barre and knew I had to try it.  I have used it alone or on top of a Nars Satin Lip Pencil.  

Emily & I blogged about this line of nail lacquers last March, click here to see the post.  Pre-spring my favorite color was Plastic Beach but I recently went to Style to find a more subtle color to take me into fall.  I ended up picking the Doe My Dear (pictured above).

The lemon-aid from Benefit neutralizes redness and dark circles.  The package reads "eyelid primer" but the salesperson suggested also using it under the eye as well before concealer.

My Laura Mercier Secret Concealer was feeling too heavy so I went in search of something new. The Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer is what I am using now after the Benefit Lemon-Aid and before the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder.  This concealer is light and easy to blend.

I learned about the Benefit Watt's Up! when Biana from Bloved Boston shared it in one of her product posts.  I have enjoyed using this highlighter.  Warning: Be sure to blend well.  I usually end up using my fingers instead of the sponge included with this product.

This Fresh Face Cream was a last minute grab while in the checkout line.  It is a light cream, best for day, in my opinion.  It smells like cucumbers and absorbs quickly.

My Favorite Hair & Skin Products Right Now

The hot summer sun can really take a toll on our hair and skin.  While I love being on the beach, I get to a point in the day when I have to shower off the sand, salt, sweat, and sunscreen.  Nothing beats the feeling of clean skin and hair after a day in the sun.  Today, I am sharing the products that I have enjoyed using since Memorial Day.

1. Laura Mercier SPF 15 lip balm with vitamins A, C, & E. Leaves lips so soft and protects them from the sun.

2. Keratin Complex Dry Shampoo absorbs excess oil while protecting and strengthening hair. This is nice to use in the morning because who showers before they hit the beach? Added bonus, it disguises roots.

3 & 4. Oribe Bright Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner protects hair from UV rays, safe for keratin and color treated hair.

5. Laura Mercier Foundation Primer Radiance gives skin a healthy glow.  I used to mix an illuminating tinted moisturizer with my SPF tinted moisturizer but the Primer Radiance eliminates that step.

6. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel is a product that I accidentally bought mistaking it for the Dramatically Different Lotion.  I would not recommend it if you have dry skin but it works for combination or oily skin.  I use it in the morning and love how quickly it absorbs.

7. Oribe Texturizing Spray gives my fine hair texture after I dry it and doubles as a dry shampoo.

8. L'Occitane Spray Almond Oil is probably my #2 favorite on this list.  It is just what the skin needs after a day in the sun.  I also love the smell!

9. Fresh Rose Face Mask is my #1 on this list.  I like to use it after I shower to hydrate.
