Christmas Wish List...Take Two

This week our Waltzer is all about maintenance!  From skin care to hair care, looking her best during the holidays is a must.  All those parties are a lot of fun, but they can reek havoc on her skin. To rejuvenate, our she turns to L'Occitane's Divine Oil Collection.  Packed with essential oils of Immortelle, her skin instantly perks up the moment she uses it.  It's really pretty amazing!  Because every party brings a different ensemble, a different look, our Waltzer likes to change up her makeup and keep it fresh.  This Givenchy Mini Prism set paired with a collection of Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks gives her all the variety she needs.  When the party is over, our she washes the day away  with these Oribe haircare products.  She removes the impurities from her skin with her Clarisonic brush, and nourishes her body with her favorite Molton Brown bath gels.  A tall glass of water and a good night sleep, and she's ready to do it all over again!

Five on Friday

Today, I am sharing five of my favorite things.
Most of them are new to me but one is a longtime favorite and a necessity in my home.
What are some of your favorite things???

1. This is kind of a double because I LOVE a good Moscow Mule
and I especially love them now that a few of my sweet friends gave
me some mugs for my birthday.  I was sooooooo excited when I
found the beautifully wrapped Elebash's box on my front porch because
I knew what was inside.  Click the mugs for a link to Neiman's website
or locals find them at Elebash's and Artesana!

2. Ok, it is no secret around WMTH that I LOVE Oribe products.  Honestly, I
do not think I have met one that I did not like. That being said...last week,
at my much needed appointment with Cortney at Style, I was introduced to
the Imperial Blowout.  New on the market and just available in retail stores
this month, it does not disappoint. Cortney gave me a sample to try at
home and I am sold.  It gives added body and texture that lasts for several days.
Available online, or locally at Style.

3. What do I use to dry my hair after use the Imperial Blowout Creme?
THIS Moroccan Oil blow dryer. After my Babylis died last winter, my
sweet neighbor loaned me her extra dryer until I bought a new one.
I was thinking that I wanted the same one until Cortney at Style
said she could order this one for me. It is what they use at the
salon and it brings enjoyment to the otherwise painful task
of blow drying my hair.

4. Now I know Mrs. Meyer's is nothing new since Oprah put it on her
Favorite Things list years ago BUT I love the basil scent in my kitchen.
I am really picky about the smell of hand soap, dish soap, and countertop
cleaner. It has to be a fresh smell and one that would typically be found
in the kitchen.  If you have not smelled this, check it out next time you
are at Target (unless you hate basil, then you know what not to try).

5.  The angels are singing on this one. Have Keurig. Will travel.
I have taken this thing on the Gillips beach weekend, to Blue Lake
and countless other places that already had coffee makers.
I fill it each night with water and have a bowl of k-cups on the counter
next to it. The thought gets me out of bed each morning.

My Favorite Hair & Skin Products Right Now

The hot summer sun can really take a toll on our hair and skin.  While I love being on the beach, I get to a point in the day when I have to shower off the sand, salt, sweat, and sunscreen.  Nothing beats the feeling of clean skin and hair after a day in the sun.  Today, I am sharing the products that I have enjoyed using since Memorial Day.

1. Laura Mercier SPF 15 lip balm with vitamins A, C, & E. Leaves lips so soft and protects them from the sun.
2. Keratin Complex Dry Shampoo absorbs excess oil while protecting and strengthening hair. This is nice to use in the morning because who showers before they hit the beach? Added bonus, it disguises roots.
3 & 4. Oribe Bright Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner protects hair from UV rays, safe for keratin and color treated hair.
5. Laura Mercier Foundation Primer Radiance gives skin a healthy glow.  I used to mix an illuminating tinted moisturizer with my SPF tinted moisturizer but the Primer Radiance eliminates that step.
6. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel is a product that I accidentally bought mistaking it for the Dramatically Different Lotion.  I would not recommend it if you have dry skin but it works for combination or oily skin.  I use it in the morning and love how quickly it absorbs.
7. Oribe Texturizing Spray gives my fine hair texture after I dry it and doubles as a dry shampoo.
8. L'Occitane Spray Almond Oil is probably my #2 favorite on this list.  It is just what the skin needs after a day in the sun.  I also love the smell!
9. Fresh Rose Face Mask is my #1 on this list.  I like to use it after I shower to hydrate.

Product Review: Oribe

Last summer, I was introduced to Oribe by my salon, Style Downtown
The Oribe consultant was in town to educate the stylists on the products. Salon owner and stylist Cortney Campus asked me to be a model for the event.  Who can say no to a free blowout? Not me!  The event was so much fun and I was surprised at how much information the Oribe consultant had to share. The models were given a sample of the Sculpting Gel to take home.  I loved it! I ended up buying a bottle of the Gel Sérum because it is better for everyday use.  I loved the Sculpting Gel but it would be an occasional product for me. Something I would use on my hair before going out for the evening or to a party.  The Gel Sérum gives my hair just enough texture and hold without feeling stiff or heavy.  I use it every time I wash my hair, after using my Unite 7 Seconds Conditioner.
